The Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project (BSBC) broke ground in May 2026, ushering in an active construction period stretching into 2031. The BSBC project represents one of the nation’s most significant transportation transformations. Spanning eight critical miles of I-71 and I-75, this initiative will reshape how Ohio and Kentucky move, connect, and grow. The Brent Spence Bridge serves as a vital transportation artery connecting major business districts, including The Banks and downtown Cincinnati.

Parking Lot Closure

As construction begins in earnest to build the new companion bridge to the Brent Spence Bridge, the project team will adjust traffic patterns and some parking lot access to ensure work moves forward safely and efficiently. We’re working closely with the City to minimize the impacts to parking as much as possible and to communicate what the community can expect. The first closure at the Crossett Lot across from Paycor Stadium, also known as Lot 1, and for Lot A (S) under 2nd Street, will begin on May 4, 2026. Drivers who park in those lots were notified in advance.
