The Banks Public Partnership

Not only was June “bustin’ out all over” at The Banks, but April and May were too!
- Public Parties construction continued on The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame in anticipation of July 22, 2023, Induction and Ribbon-cutting Ceremony.
- Business at The Banks was fueled this quarter by:
- Kids Opening Day in April at Great American Ball Park
- Flying Pig Marathon, with the “Finish Swine” at The Banks in May
- Smale Riverfront Park’s Family Fun Days
- “Rockin’ the Roebling” Thursday evening concerts on Schmidlapp Event Lawn (May through September)
- Brady Music Center concerts
- Killer Queen’s opening along East Freedom Way in April
- Juneteenth Block Party along Freedom Way
- Cincinnati PRIDE Parade
- Cincinnati Reds in first place in the National League Central (late June)
- Paycor Stadium hosting the Taylor Swift Eras Tour (June 30/July 1)
- Cincinnati Reds and BetMGM Sportsbook lease for space at the corner of Third Street and Joe Nuxhall Way

Variable Message Signage Phase III contract was awarded in the second quarter. When the project is completed, technology will provide information on available spaces throughout the Central Riverfront Garage.
Signage was placed at the entrance to the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame in June.
Developer
Red Leprechaun, an Irish pub on West Freedom Way, will aim for an opening in third quarter.
Killer Queen opened for business in April.
Parks
A sunny day at Smale Riverfront Park was the perfect backdrop for a walk.
